Is there a way to 'unsuscribe' to a thread?

You know how the cute little chicks remind every time there is a new post in a thread we've participated in, normally a wonderful feature? Some threads just go on endlessly with the same person or couple of people reasserting their opinion or threads go off topic and so I'm wondering if there is a way to turn off notification about new postings in a given thread that we don't want to read anymore? One could just elect not to open it of course but I guess the little chick will never go away that way and your eye will always be drawn to it! Thanks!

the same way you subscribe. once you subscribe, the option to unsubscribe is at the bottom of the page.

Click on UNSubscribe at the bottom of the thread.

Yes, down at the bottom of your page (where you subscribed) it should say unsubscribe in its place.

At the bottom of the thread page - actually under the page number of the posting, is the option for subscribing or unsubscribing to that particular thread. Click it for the option you need.

Wow - thanks everyone for replying so quickly!

I didn't realize I had to suscribe to a thread I was already automatically suscribed to by having participated in it, in order to for the screen to reveal the unsuscribe option.
