yep it is a Dominique roo...if it were a pullet at 8 weeks old there should be very little to no color at all in the comb and there would be no visible wattles

Hate to say it, but if that chick is only 8 weeks old, it cannot be a pullet. It has to be a cockerel with that bright red comb and wattles already. It would have to be weeks older for a pullet to have that much color in the comb.
