So I got some GLD’s from tsc and they’re about 7-8 weeks old.
Suppose to be pullets but this one’s comb and waddle look very red compared to her other 2 sisters.
Like RED.
I attatched some pics but I don’t think the pics do it any justice at how red it really is! The other 2 combs and waddles are smaller and brownish/black. I’m CONVINCED he’s a boy but he doesn’t really act like it. Help! Thanks

Is there other ways you can tell besides the combs? I’ve heard their tail feathers at this age but all their tail feathers look the same

Male GLW and SLW will often get a black "collar" around their neck before they get their full adult feathers while the females will look like they have lacing going down their neck onto the start of their back. Also, the males will get incomplete lacing with reddish patches on their wings while the females will have lacing on their wings and back.

Thanks guys! The more points you guys made the more I see it. I have my self a roo!
I was so on the fence Bc he had the look but didn’t act like a cockerel in the slightest, and I’ve always heard they act like a rooster the day they come out of their shell but some of my pullets(different breed, same age) act more of a rooster than he does! On second thought I might need double check they’re actually girls.

False.
Male hormones kick in later on. Males don’t act like jerks straight out of the shell.
