With our last round of meat birds we got a mystery chick who we named Chili Pepper. We discovered he/she is a Beilefelder and now I’m afraid Chili might be a rooster. Is he?

I'm not entirely sure about that breed, but generally, it depends on each rooster since temperament can vary in a breed as well. I think based on the breed he should be fairly well-behaved, but rarely are roosters cuddle bugs unless they're handled a lot while young. But then again, it just depends on the individual. Not sure if that makes any sense, sorry!
