Side pic would help, but depending on her age girl I'd say. If she's around 20 weeks or so, she's close to laying, if younger then its a roo.

my best guess around 18 or 19 weeks, I didn't write the date down we bought her...AND she is as mean as she looks. If she is close to laying would that cause the sudden change in attitude? I had to separate her from the other girls. Going to set up her own living space by herself. Not ideal but she goes for blood...like she is trying to kill the other hens. Separated her a few days ago. Going to try one more time to see if she will behave herself. UGH...

Comb is rather large ... not so sure on second look but you either have a rooster or a hen who is the boss

I was told a Red Sex Link. The farmer I got her from said the dad was a Rhode Island Red and the mother was a White Chicken LOL, So I suppose not a true hybrid. There are no spurs, only nubs.
