This claimed male is very strong and difficult to hold.Keeps struggling hard.The female is quite docile. Are the qutronix for sure?

They are but the spelling is coturnix. Some don't mind being held, others hate it and their sex isn't a factor in that, but personality is. If it's winter where you are you won't get eggs until spring when there's enough daylight hours. If you do have a male he won't crow before spring either. If you do have a pair you will need more females unless you have a large enclosure with lots of hiding places.
