I changed my avatar to my best friend as a memorial when she passed away on Sept 13th 2010. She was old and the best dog ever.

I could be funny and say it was some very intense breeding but with respect to my beloved dog that was so loyal and loving, I won't.

It is very sad that these breeds are being lost as there aren't enough keepers to keep up with the time they require, so they are going extinct. Beautiful birds, and what a labor of love to care for them! I wish I had that kind of dedication - I think it's admirable, not crazy.
