Is this a rooster or a pullet?

I was going for some dark ones this time, instead of the munk looking ones, the two I got back in march turned out to be ladies, wanted to add more to our flock so I bought 5 more, two of those five ARE males.

I went to the pet store today and bought two more with the advice of the forum and got straight combs, It took me about 15-20 minutes to go through their chicks, and I was coming across allot of 3 ridged combs which means they have way more males then they think, I made a comment to them and they said they are sexed before hand and its all females I said who ever is checking your chicks needs to get their eyes examined because I see males.

I have a question about this chick, The comb is a little different then Mr.Peep an there is one shot of Little Ninja's comb so I am truly hoping this is a pullet not a cockerel. This sucks to be honest, I thought this place knew what they were selling.

This is Scaredy, The NEXT chicken in question.

Little Ninja is on the bottom and Scaredy is the one in question now.

I dont see 3 ridges its not turning pink as Mr.Peeps is but the shape of it is somewhat simular to Mr.Peeps & Lil'Ninja

Is this a pullet or cockerel??

Looks like a pullet for now. You can see how much narrower that comb is. Easter Eggers tend to have a higher percentage of sexing errors than other breeds.

An here are the two knew ones, that took me 30 mins to go through the chicks there and find what I hope is females, Just by looking at the combs of them.

This is Brownie, I loved the colors on IT. Im hoping I picked a pullet because the ridge is only one and not like Lil' ninja's at all.

Frontal comb shot ( I know it might still be to early to tell )

This is Speck ( again I know its hard to tell due to age )

Best frontal comb shot I could get.

That is good to know. Since the shop they came from doesnt even know majority of the sex's they have, If I can get two roosters out of 5.

Im just hoping Brownie is a pullet because Iove the coloration she/he/it has....

Looks like ninja is a roo....
its the dang comb huh LOL

Once I found out that Peep was a cockerel I looked at all of them again picked them up and noticed Little Ninja had the same comb style/shape and its starting to turn pink up top.

Then I looked at scaredy and thought its not pink but it looks different then Spot and hence why i posted pictures of Scaredy hoping to find out if it was a pullet.

Seems as though one of my buff orpingtons is being lay happy. If there are eggs in the house she lays on them, does this mean something??

the faux eggs are out.

If she is constantly sitting on the eggs and sleeping on the nest at night then it means she's broody. I know Buff Orpingtons are known to go broody.

I havent given her the chance to lay on them all night, as we collect them and put them in the fridge but so far every time there as been a egg in there she is the one in the house laying on them.
