Is this an infection?

I noticed my chicken started limping and I realized her nail is both long and discolored, I am not sure whether it is simply a case of nail growth that can be solved or if it something I should be worried about. Any information/advice is appreciated

Looks like all they need is a good trim. They aren't discolored; white and blue/black nails are normal with slate footed birds.

Yep. Normal nails. When you go to trim them, go very slow. Snip a tiny bit at a time until you see a "dot". That will tell you you're nearing the quick. Don't go any beyond that or you'll strike blood.
