Is this chick a hen or a rooster? And what breed is it?

This little chick has been through a lot, with pasty butt problems and prolapsed vent. It was always a little runt. Now thay's grown some more, I'm questioning its gender. I'm sure its a cream legbar and assumed it was a hen due to the distinctive broen stripe running along its back and head. Now that it's about 4-5 weeks old, it has a very vivid comb. Here's a few images to help determine the gender:
Golden Campine Rooster

Campines don’t come in that color, which is gold duckwing (aka black breasted red).
In Old English Game Bantams the two varieties are genetically different and are recognized individually by the APA. Since this chick is from TSC and golden duckwing is rather uncommon and not carried by Hoover's, then black breasted red is much more likely :)

Gold duckwing isn’t the same as golden duckwing. Gold duckwing is just the more general term for the black breasted red coloration, which has a lot of different names (brown, gold, red, wild type, etc).

I'm sorry for misunderstanding your statement. To my understanding, black breasted red has color enhancers in it so it is different still than gold duckwing. You are totally right about the gold versus golden!! Those are different, but BBR would be similar to golden with some additional genetics that bring it further from wildtype in Old English Game Bantams in particular :) I could be misunderstanding part of this but in reading older threads it sounds like in some breeds the gold duckwing isn't enhanced (so they look like junglefowl) while OEGB are. Honestly the more I'm reading the more muddled it becomes and it's definitely less straightforward than I thought. I honestly don't know how enhancers affect the naming of varieties. You're right that they're interchangeable, I'm just not sure about OEGB in particular 😳 I'll hop off this topic, it's making my brain hurt!!

Yes, you’re right, and I probably should’ve added that in my reply. BBR is specifically red duckwing, which I believe is gold duckwing with mahogany added. Golden duckwing is silver/gold split duckwing in roosters, and the “golden duckwing” hens are actually just silver duckwing.
I used the term gold duckwing because it’s a more general, unspecific term. (A different example would be mottled buff columbian, which can refer to both mille fleur and calico, despite the fact that those two colors are genetically different.) Gold duckwing can be used to refer to red duckwing and often is used when someone doesn’t know whether a bird is gold or red duckwing, such as in this case. I only used it because it looks like the cockerel has slate legs in the picture (though I’m unsure, which is why I asked for pictures of his legs) so it’s possible he’s not an OEGB and therefore might not be BBR, aka red duckwing.
