Just
looking at the bag, the green sense brand appears to be food grade but it's really hard to tell. Anyone use this brand?

I can't seem to find it locally, was going to pick this up from Amazon and get the duster as part of the order. If this isn't food grade, I'll probably buy the perma-guard DE from mypetchicken, also a good price and I bet I could find a duster somewhere locally if I go that route.

Thanks
Mark

Hmm, it doesn't say food grade but it does give dosages for pets?

The kind I buy also doesn't say food grade, so I had to call the company to verify that it is.
You might price compare with the price from Murray McMurray Hatchery. Seems to me I remember seeing it in their catalog.

After reasearching some more, I think it is food grade. Unfortunately shipping for a 5 lb bag and the duster is 19 dollars for 23 dollars worth of stuff. That was kind of a shocker. Going to keep looking locally I think. Most of our feed stores are closed today unfortunately.

Thanks for the input

If it were me I wouldn't spend $$$$on a duster. Just sprinkle it. Go to earthworkshealth.com for you DE. Not only is it food grade but it comes in a plastic gallon jug that has a screw on cap. No paper bags to get damp and dirty.

Searched some more today locally, found some at a small feed store. Unfortunately it's in a brown paper bag, they buy in bulk and repackage it, but ended up with 3 pounds food grade, for 4.25$. Good enough for me :)Will find a better container for it. Was going to order some of the stuff that OKRobin linked if I ran out of luck today, thanks for the advise.
