Is this gout? Swollen ankles and feet.

Gout is not contagious. If she had MS, and I think it is more likely to be gout, the others would have already have been exposed at the same time she would have been. So glad that she is happy and getting outside.
From what I read the MS could have been passed through egg meaning from parents, is that correct? She has always been caged with her flockmates so she would be potentially exposing different chickens. All her flockmates are boys but I suppose I could pair her with one boy for company.
 
MS can be passed through the egg, just as MG can, but the eggs are less likely to hatch. Note that she has lumpy swollen toes, and most with MS have swollen ankles and hock joints, but normal toes. You could try to get testing for the one chicken with a pcr test for MS, through your local or state vet. Here is an article about MS and some pictures:
