Is this normal

Yesterday I had a Rhode Island Red lay two eggs in the nest???? Is that normal
Also my chickens went from laying everyday to laying here and there, this began after I introduced the two white leghorns that I purchased

Yes they can lay two eggs in one day.

It is normal with any stress in the flock to possibly slow or stop their laying.

2 eggs in a day is pretty rare. Are you sure it's not from two different hens?

Chickens hate change, they are creatures of habit. When you make any change, no matter how small, they can quit laying for a while. Usually, they will resume laying in a week or two.

Yea it was the same chicken cause I was present for both
