Is this the "egg squat dance" pullet's do before they lay??? PICS

3 of my 5 pullets are doing this when i go to pet them. They squat down and hold their wings out and get real stiff until i take my hand away and then they go about their business.

Here is the same pullet from above that i snapped a quick pic of that i thought was sorta funny. This is Bailey saying "hey!! why did you just pet me and make me squat down like that?? You KNOW im about to lay now" LULZ!!

lol! they are preparing for you to mount them. that's how they let the roo know they are ok with it.
which coincides with them starting to lay!

Hi! it makes sense that this behavior would have to do with egg laying. My understanding is that this is the "hi! Mr. Roo - I'm ready and willing..." sign! (chickens don't necessarily differentiate between a dominant 'roo' and a dominant 'hand'
