Is this too much protein for a duck?

It sure seems high from what I have read. You can probably cut it with grains or cracked corn. Even offering veggies will help.
Metzer has a feed calculator to help figure out how much grain to add to cut it.
If you cut it with grains you will have to add niacin.
 
I would be more concerned about if it has enough niacin.

I love that the label includes calories. Do you know what is the difference meant between AF and DM?

What breed are your ducklings and how old are they now?
It's labeled for turkeys so it should have enough niacin.

AS vs DM, I was wondering the same thing.

People actually think it's the niacin content and it's really not the entire process of raising healthy Ducklings.

You really should, lots of similarities between duck and turkeys when it comes to feed.
I feel like it could be "as fed" and "dry matter" when I think of research I have done. But don't know why there would be any discrepancy. :confused:
