Ive never eaten my own ducks but on the topic of what the ducks would have ate, don’t the ones that forage have a more game taste or something then the ones fed with feed.

I should have some more ducklings hatching in late spring/ summer this year (At the moment it’s winter for me).Maybe some of us could do a joint experiment. All of us could get baseline weights on our ducklings, then weigh every day or two and compare notes. I have a spreadsheet already done because This is something I do with peafowl.
