Is this too much protein for a duck?

Ive never eaten my own ducks but on the topic of what the ducks would have ate, don’t the ones that forage have a more game taste or something then the ones fed with feed.

It depends if on ponds..Feed yes influences meat..
 
Maybe some of us could do a joint experiment. All of us could get baseline weights on our ducklings, then weigh every day or two and compare notes. I have a spreadsheet already done because This is something I do with peafowl.

I should have some more ducklings hatching in late spring/ summer this year (At the moment it’s winter for me).

I'm in :) I just today hatched two more Call ducklings, and they're going on a 22% meat bird feed made by Nutrena that is meant for ducks, geese, and broilers.That's what I feed all my ducklings.
