How often to offer food, do you think?

I've been feeding mine 2-3 small crickets every night. Or one wax worm as a treat, since they're larger* and higher in fat.

Pop tarts in general are hideous. But we feed them to the kids for breakfast at school once a week. They eat them cold

I enjoy the occasional Fudge Pop Tart. They seem to have less filling than the others, and I quite enjoy their crunchy shell.
