I was in I think second grade, maybe first. 7 years old. I still remember it though.
Back then I was running drugs and in the Leavenworth Penitentiary.....
Ok not what you're thinking. I delivered pharmaceuticals to pharmacies. One of my stops was the Leavenworth Penitentiary. When I pulled in the place was going into lockdown and I couldn't make my delivery. That had never happened before. I didn't know what was going on. A gate guard mentioned something about it but I didn't quite understand.
I immediately drove to Walmart because it was close and I knew they had TVs that were always on.
It felt so unreal and idk how long I just stood there watching several channels at once. Then dispatch paged me, ya remember pagers, lol. I radioed in and was told to immediately return to the warehouse and then go home.

Oh wow that’s wild!! all I really remember is the teachers and everyone crying and stuff and no one would tell us anything. And then my mom picked us up from school. I remember later on I was creeping outside the living room and saw it on the news. It was scary. Also my dad was flying somewhere for work at the time so that was scary too.

I was at home, in bed. My sister came running into my room saying something funky was happening in New York. I told her of course it was, it was New York. Then we turned on the tv. It was unreal. I saw the second plane hit live. And both towers falling. I never swore so much in my life. One of those moments where you will never forget where you were
