Ate some of my water glassed eggs this morning, scrambled them. They were very good! And I baked cookies last night and used some, cookies turned out great. I will most definitely keep water glassing eggs as a way to preserve extras. 10/10

Well, you know what I did look. And, I just looked again and, yea, it is still there. It is not that bad anyway. It is sad that we have to worry about something as benign as that.

i find the subsequent pages spent explaining what was said and hidden and quoted or not quoted all discussed very cryptically to be way worse than any pg-13 comment we might make.

hear me out on this:

the site has an age restriction of 13, much the same as a PG-13 movie.

here’s what’s outlined in the ratings guidelines for PG-13 movies:

“The theme of the motion picture by itself will not result in a rating greater than PG-13, although depictions of activities related to a mature theme may result in a restricted rating for the motion picture. Any drug use will initially require at least a PG-13 rating. More than brief nudity will require at least a PG-13 rating, but such nudity in a PG-13 rated motion picture generally will not be sexually oriented. There may be depictions of violence in a PG-13 movie, but generally not both realistic and extreme or persistent violence. A motion picture's single use of one of the harsher sexually-derived words, though only as an expletive, initially requires at least a PG-13 rating. More than one such expletive requires an R rating, as must even one of those words used in a sexual context.”

in case you don’t want to read all that, you can curse in a PG-13 movie and are even allowed to say the F word one time provided it isn’t used sexually. drug use and themes are allowed, and even brief, non sexual, nudity is allowed.

but here on BYC, with the same age grading as the movies, we can’t use an eggplant emoji

no animosity at all. just an observation.

when something gets said in here that even approaches the line, usually it results in 2 pages of figuring out what was said and why we can’t say it, etc. which i find way worse than whatever was said in the first place.

then i just gave my thoughts on the restrictive nature of what is and isn’t allowed on here.

ain’t mad about it, just my thoughts.
