I so get that! My hubby was separated from his 1st wife when we met, and his daughter had just turned 4. But I'm still almost old enough to be her mom.

We met at a party. He was my best friend's boss. We were engaged 2 weeks later. We eloped and didn't tell anyone for 3 years. We had a wedding for our 10th anniversary. You should have seen my mom's face when we told everyone it was year ten and not year 7!

That's crazy! My hubby and I met at work. We both worked at a factory. He was still married when we met but it wasn't good. First wife kicked him out of the house a few months after we met. She was convinced he was cheating on her when she was actually cheating on him. Then a buddy of his had said he could stay with him but he renigged on that so hubby had to live in his car for a little bit. Until I bought a house with my sister, then of course he stayed with us
