When I first met the 18 year old, I very much did not like how he looked. But as I was a new employee, he was left to help me learn how to do things. It was his patience, understanding, soft voice, his witty remarks, and all of those amazing qualities that got my attention and made me start looking at him different. I learned long ago not to go by appearances, and I listen to my gut if my mind tries to judge based on looks alone. No matter what anyone looks like, I will judge them based solely on how they act. Some of the ugliest looking people have the kindest hearts, and that is what I wait to see.

no one has ever said “wow, he/she is ugly, let me go find out if we have a lot in common…”

thank you for coming to my ted talk.

I just see a person, any person, and I want to talk to them. I like talking to people, unless they are being trash. I do not go out looking for a possible suitor, I just go out and hope that I can make people laugh. At the very least, I hope to accomplish the task of making a customer/employee rethink shooting up the store.

I think he is cute now, because his personality made him cute. I first noticed his personality. The 21 year old, I thought he was cute from jump street. But I treat him no differently than I treat my other coworkers, and now we are buddies.


And for a personality reference: I am bubbly in public. My boss calls me the Sparkle of Electronics.
