how do you keep his nose looking so good? my boxer’s nose is very rough and cracked. i try some “snout saver” ointment in it but he ends up just licking it off.

i’ll see if i have a picture on my phone somewhere.

Honestly I don’t do anything special, it just naturally stays that way.

That said, I have had a dog who’s nose cracked too and paws and I used that same ointment or maybe it was the paw one (honestly I think it’s the same stuff). Is it possible to maybe give him a bone or go walk or something to distract him for like 5-10 minutes or however long it takes to soak in? That might help.
