Apparently the house next door sold. New neighbors moving in. The dude came over to introduce himself. Seemed cool. Said it's him a wife a 1.5yr old juvie and a lab. I hope the dog doesn't get out. I will shoot him. At least I have the electric wires around each pen.

And before anybody says , we'll yall have wild boars that maim people and gouge out organs. Which is a legit rebuttal but the difference is is that a wild boar isn't gonna be in my closet. Now if that did happen, I'll move then.

I totally dislike destructive Labs, too. My neighbor just got him one. He texted me and said if he bothers my chickens to let him know. So, the other day I catch the dog down at my run. I open the gate to go in and he pushes me to the side and goes in. I throw him out. He sits outside jumping and barking at the birds. I come out, block him from going back in. I start around the coop to the door with him excitedly following. I happen to have hard plastic pitcher like thing in my hand so I just racked him on his head with it and keep on walking. He yelps, and runs off and he hasn't been back. I have see him a couple times outside at my neighbors house since. He turns his back to me when he sees me. I think we will get along very well now.

It certainly could have. But at least my son has decided not to keep them in his room anymore.
