Isa's Homestead Happenings and Hangout

Ahh okay that makes sense! Having a memory card is definitely nice! Mine has 256 so I also will never run out. I’m only using like 70 or 72 gb. I checked just now. And the Cloud is free until you get over a certain number of gb and then it’s like $1 or $2. I went over so I pay. Also I think phones with more gb cost way more so it probably would be cheaper and easier to just be able to buy a memory card. But then those can break.
How could a memory card break? It's smaller than a sim card and goes in the same slot. So, you pay for Cloud but have room on your phone? That doesn't make sense

Idk. I would just worry it could malfunction. And it automatically uploads to the cloud and offloads it off the phone so you don’t have a choice really. But as is my photos take up like 12 or 13 gbs.

Also the Cloud is more for in case my phone breaks or something then the photos are safe on my account still. And they’re also shared across platforms so my tablet has access to photos I take on my phone.

Plus, I know a metriccentric Canadian that I am pretty sure uses a Droid and her brain has to be in a state of perpetual freeze from the snow and cold. Not to mention time spent on top of the chicken coop hoping that someone comes by on a snowmobile or something that can help get her down. So, not really a good endorsement.
Well, it was nice to know ya. I don't think any jury will convict if you suddenly have some kind of "accident" involving our friend from America's hat. :p

I don't know how that works for iphone but for Android, you just have to make sure it's an "unlocked" phone so it can work with any carrier
And that you can live with an older model or a smaller feature set. From ether camp. You can get good deals on "new in box" 2 or 3 year old models compared the latest and greatest all over the place. Or on a lower end model with less "shiny" than the flagship offerings. Pick a price point and then shop for the best feature set you can get in that range.

I won't ever own an apple product. Conversely, my wife hates android. Guess which one I spend more time maintaining?
