I named a few of the finches and bluejays, too. As well as the tiny green hummingbird that likes to bounce off my head in the morning (his name is Torpedo!).

Out of all of the bows I have used, this one is still my favorite. It has a nice weight to it, and it has some power behind it.

Anyone have a crossbow recommendation? Not overly expensive but still good enough for racoon/possum?

Whichever bow you use I suggest using small game judo points. I have a Barnett vicious reverse draw but it's not made anymore and not cheap.

Yeah I shot a coon on my deck at about 25feet with a broadhead, it went through him, made a perfect slice in the side of a deck post flew to the backyard hit a t post and shattered shaft and razors all in my chicken pens luckily no chicken injuries. The judo points do alot of damage and if you miss they have a tendency to make the arrow stick up out the ground so you can find it
