I'd also recommend a red light. Apparently they can't see red. At night I can light up a predator with the red light and it's like I'm not even there. It doesn't bother them at all

Anyone have a crossbow recommendation? Not overly expensive but still good enough for racoon/possum?

I got this for Christmas last year. My weapon of choice for deer hunting. Probably too strong for a racoon or possum and I have no idea how much it cost but there you have it

I like, though, that they have them at all of the rest stops up there. Service is spotty at best in the mountains, so they kept the phone booths active.
