I hand raise pigeons all the time. Pigeon eggs are very very sensitive so make sure the seller packages them very well.

I know. I had the same one. The humidity seemed right but the temp was always to high! Haha.btw my thermometer isn’t right, the actual temp is 100.1 , I just use it for the humidity and as a second back up . It’s always 2 degrees off
No !! Haha I don’t race tumblers, I meant to put them in with the second list I wrote. They are very low flyers. I wish they can be racedI race afghans tumblers, oriental rollers , homers, some rock pigeons, I had 4 jacobins but stupid hawks got to 3 of them, and some fan tails. It’s dark right now but in the morning I can post some pictures. These are my incubated ones. One hatched 2 days ago and one today
How do you hand feed them? I’ve been looking at syringes in case I need to help my hen feed them. But I cant find any that have a large enough spout for the chicks to put their bills into.I hand raise pigeons all the time. Such beautiful birds!!Hey there Aaron! I've seen you around a bit, and just wanted to say WELCOME!
what breeds do you raise?
I raise racing homers and Portuguese Tumblers.
Well you don’t really need syringes, you can get pippets for stores like Walmart and do it that way. Syringes can culture bacteria so I try to stay as sanitary as possible. You can also get some balloons and put the balloon over a pill bottle and stick their beaks in and allow them to eat them selves. That’s the best and more natural wayHow do you hand feed them? These are mine. Some of them are at my uncles house for training since we have too many hawks here and it not the right area for training. We have a smaller backyard as well. I have this other pigeon that’s HUGE but I have no idea what he is. I think he is a hybrid king. The last one is my mystery pigeon. He is soo much bigger than every other pigeonHey there Aaron!
