There is already a fence.. buts like around the whole backyard. I will hopefully figure something out. Lol thank you!Having a fence around the dog house will make it safer also. Maybe a cover of some kind of fencing over top to keep out climbing predators It will have to be secured real well too.
Mine come back at dark. They’re smart little things.both mind and a friends muscovies have refused to come back to the coop at night for the last month. Both flocks come eat during the day and then return to their stock ponds at night. There is NO convincing then to come back.
This is the kind of doghouse we have... so I’m not sure if it’d work... I’d have to help them in and out it looks like. But as long as they are out of the cold it should be okay for the night.Would something like this work just for night time?? I only have 4 ducks that’ll use it.
Thank you!Had the same problem when they were young, had to shoo them in first few nights, just before dark. Then they just started to go in @ dusk by there self. Good luck.
