It’s getting cold here! Ducks absolutely will NOT use their house!

During the day mine are out and love to huddle in the straw. At night I lock them up..

Yeah I lock mine up at night too. Sometimes they don’t want to come out right away. I’m guessing because it’s cold. It’s also their first winter.

Are they okay to be out all day until I put them in at night?

Does their run have a windbreak? Or does wind blow across their whole run?

A section of straw or similar in a windless spot can help if you're worried, but they should be fine...

There is certain spots for windbreak. But their first snow they loved it and played in it. So they like it, but i know they’re cold.

Then ensure they can be warm...Simple..You can do this.
