It Finally Happened New Egg layer!

Well Buffy's sister Crystal didn't want to feel left out. Lol
1.7oz/47g, a very pretty pinkish/tan

So that makes TWO new egg layers today!

Wow, my Amber Star and Polish are almost 3 months old and I can't wait for the egg laying to start!

Had our very first egg four days ago, a soft-shell from Goldy. She is an ISA brown and was 16.5 weeks old at the time.

Today we got a first egg from Sassy, also an ISA Brown who was 17 weeks yesterday. This one was a proper egg, weighed 2.2 oz (can't get my scale to switch to grams).

My Blue sapphire started on the 8th! I actually got to watch her lay this morning!!
First pic was abt 1.5wks ago..
Second was yesterday..look how red shes gotten!!

FINALLY another of my pullets laid an egg. Buffy, another of my ISA Browns, who will be 19 weeks tomorrow, blessed me with an egg that has such a heavy bloom it looks a fleshy pink color. I suspect this is actually her second, we had a yolk in the bedding under the roost about a week ago. It was 1.7oz/48g so pretty big.

So now I have three egg layers. Also finally ate some of the first eggs from my other two that are laying. As I suspected Sassy's was a double yolk.

Finally after weeks of looking ready at 19 weeks my olive egger, Fireball, laid her first egg. A dark brown speckled egg...

It is pretty but I really wanted more colors. Lol. My first EE lays such pale blue eggs they look pretty much white, now my OE lays brown. Lol

Wow those are stunning. What breed is she???? I want eggs that color so bad. Hoping my cream legbars are like that
