It Finally Happened New Egg layer!

Ok so update! All four hens are now laying. We are now getting about 2 eggs a day! I got to witness my Golden comet lay her first egg and it was a lovely little speckled egg. :love Now if I can only figure out which eggs belong to the other 3 girls...lol

Well I "think" I got an egg from someone new today. It was a softshell dropped from the roost during the night. The two who have been laying for a few weeks both gave me a good egg this morning, the two new ones didn't lay anything today but I don't think either of them laid the soft one. I checked my camera and couldn't quite tell who it was, but she jumped off the top roost in the middle of the night walked around for a few minutes then jumped up on the corner of the low one and stayed there the rest of the night. The egg was right under there. They were pecking order when I got there early this morning.

Two more of mine have started laying. Hazel, the last of my ISA Browns to start, laid her first one on Sunday.

And then today Dottie, one of my "mystery" colored egg layers laid a gray/green egg. So looks like she is an Olive Egger!

It looks a little darker in person.

Do you have pics of the rest of your mystery Eggers? Would love to take guesses on breeds lol.

I got my first egg from one of my 22 week buff orphington today, Sarah. It was so exciting to go check on them and find a little egg! Winnie looks to be about a month out I'd guess and Little Bit probably has a couple months to go.

I had posted some a few months ago in the breed/gender section. But let me see what I have that is more current.
