Zoingo, Speedy, Moon and Nugget all laid their eggs this morning like good girls! Sunny (the buff orp) continues to taunt me running in and out of the coop, inspecting nest boxes and fussing!

Such pretty eggs and damn Zoingos egg is huge. Hummer and Nugget both laid their 4th egg from Mon!! Nugget hasn't laid 4 in a row before this week. I know she took Sun off. Can't remember when Hummer last took a day off. Everyone else is still being brats. Lol

They are building up to both not lay on the same day though. Lol. Since both have been laying I have always gotten 1 egg. Going to be so sad the first day they both don't lay.

WOOHOO Congrats!!!!! would love to see a pic of your Cochin egg and maybe the one that laid it. I think one of mine is close going by comb and wattle size/color so would be nice to see what one that is laying looks like. How old is she?

Thanks. Maybe lighting but my Cochins comb and wattles seem more red than yours. Lol. She likes to keep me guessing. She will only be 6 mo on the 8th though.

That egg is soooo pretty. Looks like such a light color.

They are one of the cutest chickens IMO. They say they are sweet. Annabelle is pretty sweet, My roo is good but doesn't come up to us. My other 2 pullets are more standoffish right now. Hoping it changes when they lay. Here is my Cochin crew.

THOSE FLUFFY LEGS.... well, fluffy everything, really hahaha. I love themmmmm!

I've been camera stalking Sunny all day; waiting for her to lay her first egg - and I think she knows it. She's messing with me. She's in an out of the coop at least 3 times an hour. She hops in a different nest box each time like a freaking whack-a-mole. Ahhhhhhhh!
