IT HAPPENED!!!

Lmao on Zoingo! That is too funny!!!! Poor girl had to hold it in. And wow 5 layers!!!! I am jealous.

I think she is so pretty. Lots of people say buff orps are ugly I'm not chicken-snobby enough, I guess hahaha

No egg from Annabelle today yet. She just slept in the nest box all night. Ugh. If she does it tonight I will have to go out and move her.

Hummer hates if anyone is in the coop, meaning other chickens, when she is laying. Well my coop door opens at 630. For some reason today even with the door open they were still in there at 640 then they went out. Well 645 Hummer is back in to lay and was out in 25 min. She normally takes 45 min and didn't lay yesterday. Guessing that is why she was so early today. And it was 45g so getting bigger.

Then Nugget went in around her normal time so I thought nothing of it since she goes in daily if she lays or not and I thought for sure she wouldn't lay today. I had to clean the coop so once she came out I went in to clean, didn't even check the box first, go in and glance at box and there is an egg from her!!!! Holy crap 7 in a row!!!

Here is a pic of her egg from today. And all my eggs from Mon-Sun from my 2 girls.

Just before work today we found Stevie in the nest box! She’s our second layer of the flock! 40g today. She’s supposedly (according to TSC) a rainbow EE. Her egg is a deep red/brown color.

I forgot to turn the light on tonight at 6 to go off at 7 so I peeked and 4 were roosting, 3 on floor and Annabelle in the nest box.. . So I went out to take her out and turned the light on low for 15 min. I put Annabelle on the roost but the other 3 went up on their own. Here is a pic I took when I was in there of them all being big girls (and boy. Lol )
