Maybe tomorrow is the day. Blackie and Zoingo are soooo red again, and now going back into the coop a lot everyday. Zoingo popped her head into the nest boxes this morning and I was cheering her on while watching the video like a crazy person hahahahaha

Your girls are sooo pretty!!!!

Woohoo on them checking the box and going back in the coop.

I have given up on my other girls. Lol. They are just freeloaders.

Nugget dropped out another egg today as she was leaving the coop, she was in the box for a bit before this.

I have 2/7 laying and they are 30.5 weeks.

Update: 25 weeks and 1 day...still no eggs.

Most of my girls are heading into their 27th week and are showing signs but not laying yet. I believe in them (yours and mine, too!)

I have no clue what she is doing! Not sure if something to be worried about? But it has only happened those 2 times so spaced apart so not worrying yet. But it sure is odd!!!!!

I wouldn't think it's anything to worry about... as long as she is still acting normal and healthy. Her eggs always have good, hard shells from what I've seen... plus she's still relatively new to laying, so I guess lots of craziness can happen. It really seems to me that she's just in a rush to be done and get back to the flock hahaha
