Well ok, I want to reconstruct the run, as it's not very sturdy. I still need to reinforce the bottom 3 feet with welded wire.. have it, but it's been so wet and cold.. and I have other priorities (like figuring out how to get the new coop into my backyard!) that it keeps getting put off.
The overall dimensions are 6X10, with 6X6 on the hen side, and 6X4 on the "playboi manshun" side. The hen run is 8X14, and the rooster run is 8X8. The coop is a little under capacity for the boys, but a hen over on the girls, but they don't seem to mind. I have sand in the runs, and haven't been disappointed yet.
Please ignore the yard mess.. that's the bags of cedar shakes we didn't use. Once I get my page up and running, I'll show progress/build/plan pics
The girls' side, finished first because it was bigger and we hadn't moved the boys yet.
The girls' side after the big move.
The playboi manshun
I think they would be happier if they had bunnies though.
Foghorn crowing his approval
Although he looks a little demented..
Now to work on the one for the chicks that are still living in my garage, and the house for the ducks and turkeys
