We just had another earthquake!

So far so good! So far they are only 3s & 4s!

I don't do earth quakes but when a hurricane is a 3 or 4 here that is pretty bad and scary

Not only do we have tornados but now we have earthquakes!

we get lots of them with the hurricanes i had 3 come across my place left 3 paths of downed trees layed them over like walking on corn stalks in a field it was amazing. lost around 50 oak trees and topped out tons of pine trees like they were tooth picks, took me years just to clean up the worst part near my fields and some stuff never got cleaned up, it just rotted into the ground and still is rotting at this time.

In my lfetime and basically living here on the original farmstead I know of 3 seperate tornadoes that was within 300 ft of the house here.The first one was when I was 8 yrs old and that one blew 12 railcars off the railroad tracks 1/4 mile straight west of the house here. It passed just north of our house. The next one was about 30 years ago and took our 14x40 chicken house down. Last one came a few days before our daughter was born in 1995 and mainly broke treees off,and lifted my neighbors barn up off the concrete foundation and moved it cock-eyed about 3',,he lives about 300 ft north of me. I hauled and cut up 17 loads of branches from that one.

Blow that 70 degree heat this way please? Next here will be up to 6" of snow this weekend followed by bitter cold next week. But hey only 30 or so days until March.

I am tired! I cleaned out their house, cleaned their heated water, and filled up their 49 lb feeder. Then I ckd them for any sort of bugs. I guess I'm ready for the Java. I also ckd the heater in the coop. Everything is ok! I'm still going to worm the Java even if he is suppose to be wormed. I have mixed emotions about not quarantining him, but Brad Leggs says I don't have too.
