I've Done Something Crazy

@3KillerBs I suspect that this site is a scam. I felt into a similar trap for honey flow hives (for bees) - the site had all the "good" beehive tools/products and looked totally legit (it's like someone knows what they were selling, all the good products with good discount . The flow hives was sold for 25% of normal price, and claimed to be "only a few left sales item". I later found out that it was a scam site, and requested my credit card company to stop payment. (clues in addition to comments from the internet: no response from customer service by email; the listed phone number is a foreign country; and the images seemed stolen from other sites)

You can check the fine prints of the terms and conditions of the site to see if you can stop the transaction and get your refund. And check to see if you can find reviews from other buyers.

DH has decided to see if anything updates on the tracking over the next couple days.

If nothing shows then he'll be able to get the payment dealt with for non-delivery.
There are some shipping “challenges” right now (thanks to u-know-who), so u might want to give it a reasonable amount of time. Keep the faith! :old

Keeping the faith is great about many things, but we also need to use wisdom. There are way too many red flags in this case. It's certainly a scam.

My dad got scammed like this he ordered these "beautiful bird feeders" that were half off and looked such good quality but when it arrived it was a dollar store plastic model bird feeder. I think he was able to get his money back from PayPal but yea...what you see is most def a scam. They advertise heavily on Facebook which is why I always suggest people use VPN services and ad blockers. Facebook is tracking you all the time, which is how they are targeting chicken things your way. Hope you don't lose too much money.

DH was browsing Facebook Marketplace at random and came across this link at a ridiculous low price: https://mowhich.com/products/coop?f...8nlwrt9sqxbBzcDxV5ZX--Q7iC4VTxMUEwcM7RWjp3aoI

For $55 including shipping we ordered one -- as an adjunct to or replacement for Camp Cockerel -- for use separating either cull birds or breeding groups.

Of course we're going to have to modify it, probably heavily, but we figured that no matter how badly-made it is there is at least $55 worth of parts and tarp in it. :D

Got the notice today that it's shipped -- though it didn't hint at when the delivery might arrive.

Should be a fun project to work on once it arrives.
Oh no! You cannot buy stuff off Facebook! This is a rip off for sure! Lots of scammers on Facebook because they only require that sellers have a website! Don’t feel bad you’re not the first to get burned and you won’t be the last!

I know it's too good to be true at least in terms of being useful without significant modification. I was expecting it to be nothing more than a base for a DIY rebuilding project.
You will not get your moneys worth guaranteed. I bought what was advertised as an electric surf board for 250, normally they go for thousands, what I got was a used boogie board that sells for 30.00 new. Do not even accept the package they send you, you will regret it! Facebook is not a safe place to make purchases, if you see something there you like, look for the same item on Amazon.

It's not something I actually *needed*. Though everyone who keeps chickens can use an extra pen, right?

We bought it specifically to see how far the product varied from the ad and to do and document a rebuild that would be useful to people -- figuring that we'd at least get the value of the price in wire, frame, and wheels.
You will not get the same value guaranteed ! If they send you anything it will only be so they can argue that you received the goods and delay any refund PayPal might provide.

This is absolutely a scam. If you wait you are only giving them time to get away with your money. If you accept whatever junk they send you it, they will use that to delay PayPal or your bank. Do a stop payment while you have the opportunity
