Ivomec in water.

You can squeeze some of the juice out then inject 1/2cc Ivomec Plus in the grape.

If you can't catch and inject I would just use the Safe Guard and Valbazen in the water, Most all free range birds won't need worming because they can get natures deworming plants and such.

Yep! You stated the problem very well!
Outdated, conflicting information, from a variety of sources.
Differences between what the "breeder" can do with a couple thousand birds, vs. what the hobbyest with one or two free ranging birds is able to accomplish.

Thanks to everyone who's taken the time to share about this topic! We don't know what we don't know!

Anyone can do the Safe Guard and Valbazen if you have 1 bird or 1000 birds, but if I only had 2 or 3 birds then I would catch them and inject them or give them 1/2cc down their throat none of this is hard to do but if you have penned birds this needs to be done. They have feed with this in it as well but you bird would have to eat a lot to get what it needed and then you would still need to worm with something else. A few years ago there was a so called breeder that sold that wormer mixed in feed on eggbid and there were a lot of folks that lost birds due to worms because he said this is all you have to use.

It will be the same as Safe Guard 4 to 5cc to 1 gallon of water for 3 days.

I've got waterfowl also (ducks geese) as well as turkeys guineas chickens... same dose for all of them? because the ducks play and putter in the water I'd think this might not work for them.

I remember that guy he was out of Tennessee if I recall right and he had some kind of feed with some kind of worm killer mixed in it. he sold a lot of it on eggbid also lots of peachicks 'some of you may remember him' and then oneday he was gone never to be heard from again? wonder what happened to him?

I don't think you worm ducks or geese don't know much about waterfowl you may want to ask about that on their part of this forum to find out if you can.

I think you're right. I know you can't give ducks medicated chick starter. Tractor supply brand stopped making medicated for that reason. ~darlene
