Are you talking about this picture I posted???? Where her leg seems to be sticking out like that?

If so, as I said next to the picture, she was taking a "dust bath" on the blanket while I was tacking pictures. That's why she's kinda like lying on her side. She was just taking a nap and taking a dust bath...if only she had dust to do so!

Ivory looks so cute with that little tail coming in

I haven't posted since the one time, but have been keeping track of your thread. I am so glad to see such improvement in such a short time.
I sure hope if Ivory turns out to be a roo, you will still get to keep him. After all you've worried and tended to him you should keep him forever. I guess you will know for sure if he starts trying a screechy little pathetic first crow. I've still got my fingers crossed that it is a she.
Good luck to you and keep us up to date. I love seeing the pics and hearing how well he is doing

Mmmm....never considered that. I'm gonna go check.............

OK, just checked her over........not sure what "normal" is, but she has a sharp bone that starts about an inch below her crop and goes all the way along the bottom on her stomach and stops just beneath her end area. Her crop feels normal right now...she just ate, so it's nice and round and feels normal.

Oh and I noticed that the sharp bone under her stomach runs up to her crop, then curves more to the left of her crop and her crop is more near her right wing. But that's normal, right? None of our chicken's crops are right in the middle of their chests. They are usually off the the side slightly.

Thanks! And yes, her spiky little tail is so cute!

I told my father that there's a good chance she may be a rooster...he wasn't very pleased about that, but I know that he would never make me get rid of her/him. I would never sell her anyway, even if she's a rooster.
