Izzie's Year in Pictures

We started off the competition year Memorial Day weekend in Michigan's Upper Peninsula at the Bay de Noc-Grand Island Trail. Despite the 90 degrees and high humidity, Izzie took first place overall in the 25 mile comp ride on Saturday.

Then in June we competed at the Hopkins Creek Ride near Kalkaska, MI. Took 2nd there. Rained all weekend and the camera was acting up so no pics

However, returning to high 80s temps in early August, Izzie took first place overall 2 days of Shore to Shore in Oscoda and South Branch, MI

In September we attended the Tin Cup Springs ride near Cadillac, MI. Izzie scored 397 out of 400, 1 hearbeat away from a perfect score. No pics for this weekend either. Forgot camera.

In October, we returned to the Upper Peninsula, between Manistique and Munising for the Pine Marten Run. Cold night that night! Fall colors were lovely, but just see for yourself. Izzie pulled a suspensory ligament yet still managed to come in 2nd place out of 3 riders (and no the horse we beat wasn't lame).
