Have hope. there are a few people here that have worked with this..............and maybe they can help you.........so I am pretty bummed now, my poor single egg for hatching has a ton of odds against it. and saw at lunch that it has a saddle shaped air cell, guess it never really clicked before when I candled. have seen on some threads they pull through fine, others not so fine. guess we shall wait and see....![]()
now it's happily chirping and fluffing up with its siblings. Note: if you decide to do yhis, take care not to get the nostrils wet - and have a dry towel handy. I used a cotton ball soaked in warm water to help wash the stuff off. As of this morning, I have 4 hatched and 3 pipped out of 8 eggs that went into lockdown. And I also have 14 wheaten/blue wheaten ameraucanas in the bator on day 13 - all were looking great on day 12. Yay! Here are 3 in a separate bator drying:
