Jan. Hatch A Long?

I locked down around dinner time since it is day 18. I only have one frizzle serama I think but guy who sent them said to watch for day 19, but since I have 5 silkies in to I went for tonight. Temp is 99.8 and humidity is at 68% so hoping all goes well.

dunn...hmm, could be a name of one of his hens or roo. ?? Sometimes they mark their eggs with the name of the hen or roo..had a batch like that once.

Ooo, I'm jealous of your splashes! Where did you get them. Are you one of those lucky ones that has a yard full of chickens? I want a splash something so bad.

The Splash? I'll try not to bore you with the story.

I had totally failed at incubating nice eggs and was looking for cheep barnyard mixes to try again when I saw a Craigslist add for table eggs for $4.00/dozen. Only the picture showed these beautiful dark eggs. The hatch worked and this is what I got.



I used to let my chickens run free. But it always ended up feeding the neighborhood dogs. I'd like to try it again with the right breed. One that fly's well.
