Here you go. These are from this morning. He has good endurance but not overly hyper. He does jump up on people and opportunistically counter surfs. So there's plenty of work to be done still.

He is so pretty! In the summer it is like we have a golden retriever and in the winter it is like we have a great pyrenese. I love him and he jumps a lot too. I've never seen a dog want so much attention

I love your silver birchen roo there- he's gorgeous! I'm also a big fan of cochins- cochins and cochin mixes make up the majority of my flock. They have such wonderful personalities, and so many colors! Hope you get many girls with your young ones.

Thanks! I know I have at least 4 hens. The rest I think are roos but I'm holding to a faint hope.

We've had chickens for 7 years. These are our first Cochins. I feel like I've been missing out all this time. They're so mellow and friendly. They've received the same handling as all the other chicks I've raised they just naturally have this temperament. I'm trying to get more eggs from the same seller but they're productive is down for the winter. Maybe later this spring but you know how patient us hatchers are. I might source some elsewhere and hope they're as chill.

UT, I had a LO hen and gave her eggs to a friend who had a cochin rooster, when i wanted fertile eggs she gave me some of her eggs mixed with that cochin rooster, and I hatched out this hen...View attachment 1243651I call her Bluebelle.

She's beautiful. I love that coloring.

I have some Bantam Cochins too! They're my favorite chickens. I'm hoping for a nice little breeding group to hatch and sell hatching eggs. Currently rooster heavy so we'll see if that works out. Here they are. The little ones are 14 weeks. The big roo hatched August 5th.

Here's my Golden R. I feel bad for her since my health has declined. I've never even ever considered placing one of my Goldens before. But, she isn't getting the attention she needs, and they crave it. She needs to go to a home where a woman would be around her the most. Man, it's hard to even think about, but it's only fair to her.

Dogs love being with you so don't feel bad. We had a blue healer, and she would have made a great service dog. She would fetch pillows, shoes, keys, she loved pulling sleds, people on skis, all of it.

It’s day 18 and I decided to sneak a candling and there is this silkie egg that is alive and moving but it doesn’t look positioned correctly to hatch! The light part is the pointy end and the air cell isn’t broken through or anything either. I’m so confused. Will it hatch? Will I need to help.
