Jerk Neighor is now considered a predator!!!

I would poke him in the chest while talking to him and ask him furiously "WHYYY?! Why didn't you just.." Whatever comes after, eh. I like poking people in the chest while talking to them when I'm angry.

Any possibility of relocating their coop to the other side of your house? Sometimes the chickens don't like to lose sight of their home. Moving their coop might keep them from straying that direction so far.

I'm sorry about your chicken. You must not think very highly of your brother in the first place referring him as a neighbor rather then family. It was the wrong thing for him to do.

You should build a run and keep your chickens inside, so you don't lose any more. They will get use to it. Mine love their home, even though they are in a coop and run. Good luck.

Being related to someone should not take away ones right to keep trespassers (be they human, dog, chicken) off their property. It isn't fair to expect the brother to tolerate chickens on his property, just because the owner of those chickens is his brother. We all have the right to control what comes onto our property, regardless of the fact that it involves brothers, sisters, parents, etc.

but said neighbor has a dog that gets loose and goes into the OP's yard and messes around, poops, and is a nuisance...the OP hasn't called Animal control or SHOT the dog because it was HER brother...I can see why the OP thought the same courtesy would be extended to her...ALSO a dog can do a lot more damage and makes a MUCH bigger POOP than a chicken...

OP take his dog's crap out of your yard, and dump it on his porch with a note : "heres the presents your mutt left me in my yard...next time he visits, he wont be coming back home that day...don't worry I wont SHOOT him, but you can find him at Animal Control" (Or you could leave the last sentence out

He had every right to shoot the OP's bird, especially after he told her to keep her birds off his porch. It seems that when I dog trespasses its shot and people here are cheering, yet a chicken should have special rights or something?

Dumping more poop on his porch or doing something in return isn't going to help, how would the people who have shot the neighbours dog like it if that person let a whole bunch more loose just to get back them? I say kudos to the brother for doing something about the situation and hopefully getting some results!

Well if thats the case - (since its brother/sister - and the OP (sister) has let things go and been the bigger person with the brother/neighbor) then the OP should shoot his dog when he tresspasses next time.

Yes, she should.
