I never got any Blues. And due to some circumstances when I was 16 I no longer had any birds which meant no more Black (or White) Javas.

If I had the birds available, yes. It should have been fairly straightforward and easily achieved in a few years.

How loud are your JG? I’ve read on a few sites they are louder than an average chicken. Would love one!

I currently have 2 black ones (Or I guess I should say 1 and a half). About 2 years ago my friend gave me a black Jersey Giant chick and a lavender orpington chick. When the Jersey Giant grew up we had a mix breed grey rooster so he bred with her and the daughter looks really similar to the mother just a little bit smaller.

In my experience they have been quite loud, but tend to be quieter when there are not people within sight or when they are out free ranging. When they are not free ranging and they see a person they will demand that they are let out.
