JESUS Blessed my Life this week

Yesterday listening to Dr. Laura on the radio I heard a neat idea.

For "dessert" on Friday nights Dr. Laua and her husband and son would tell each other something that they appreciated about the others from the previous week.

Many times we don't take the time to express to our family how we appreciate them.

I thought that was a neat tradition. Telling others how they have blessed you.

I'm not upset, I just dont like when people see the need to take EVERYTHING and make it a religion thing. If you want to pray to Allah, Budah, or Spongebob Squarepants, it doesn't make a difference to me.

I just want to know why can't we talk chickens without someone taking us to church. I went to church already this week....

Poulets, yet you keep peeking at this thread! (Just kidding, I think you're a great asset to BYC, and I don't want to make you mad at me.) So forgive me... I'll be quiet now.

I tried not to post in response to your post either as I hate to feed a troll. After praying long and hard about it I have to say, you make me very, very, sad. You still can't stand the fact that some believe in God while you don't. I pray that this thread continues even though you are trying your hardest to get it closed.

My blessings this week, top of the list, MySon in Law was saved, he never believed in God and at 27 he was saved, and let my Grandson be dedicated, he has set up a bible study in their home and will be going to church. To you that will mean nothing to us that believe in the Savior it will mean everything.

Blessing to you and yours.

I am not a troll...far from it. What I am is a loving, caring, REAL human who feel physially ill when I see people praising a god because a man who was paid to came out and fixed their AC so they could feel a touch more comfortable while people are dying from starvation, heat stroke, etc. It just makes no sense and if one of you could make it then I wouldn't have felt a need to post in the first place.

One of my very dear friends became a christian recently. She changed from being the person who loved everyone and would die trying to save them to a person who says "yes, I think it is alright that god lets small children starve to death in other countries...maybe their parents needed to learn a lesson about him"........that, to me, says it all.

As you surely do not judge all people by the wrongs of one individual person, do not judge all Christians by opinions of one young Christian.

Sorry, didn't mean you in particular, just speaking generaly... you are right of course, chicken sites should concentrate on chickens, and religion sites, religion.
I like chicken people too...they are " The salt of the earth."

I really do not understand the stance you are taking here.
You are outraged by people dying from the heat while some are appreciating their air conditiong. But I don't believe I have read of your outrage over starving children while so many of us here have PET chickens! Please try to see the unreasoning in your responses.

I do all I can to help others and I, too, hate the suffering of so many in this world. But I am still grateful to God for sending His Son to be my savior.

I have seen loss as well, two of my sons and a brother. Knowing they are not lost to me, forever, is such a comfort.

I think, perhaps, you might be trying harder to convince YOURSELF, that there is no God than, you are us.
God Bless you and keep you, and if that is too offensive: good luck to you.
My God loves all and wants them to come back to him.

Sounds like the work of Isis (the Egyptian goddess of nature, magic and automobile air conditioning) to me.

Personally, I like Homer Simpson's prayer methodology:

"If that is OK, please give me absolutely no sign. OK, deal. In gratitude, I present you this offering of cookies and milk. If you want me to eat them for you, give me no sign. Thy will be done."
