Jinxed myself, actual missing duck, at least 1 injured. Any help / advice appreciated.

Gosh, everything is happening today. I got a call a few hours ago that Blanca is doing well and can be picked up, and as I was heading out, one of my alpacas had a baby in the freezing cold. I’m not even certain who the mama is yet, no one was claiming her. I grabbed the baby and took her with me to the vet!!!

Blanca is clearly better. Still a long ways to go of course, but she’s much more alert, walking around. She even laid an egg over night??!
She’s at home now in my bathtub and has drank some warm electrolyte water. I have 2 medications to give her and if all goes well, in a week or two I can bring her back to the vet to remove her stitches.

Hope you figure out who the momma is so you're not stuck bottle feeding, or at least so the baby can get some colostrum!

I figured out it was my girl Stella. Not too surprising. I gave baby a bit of colostrum supplement when I got home, but she is out with mama now. Yes! Baby is a girl!

I brought my boy Cherry in just for Blanca to see & try and lift her spirits. She gave a few quiet quacks at the sight of him
She’s continuing to drink. Ate a small bit of food mash, but doesn’t really like the texture. Keeps shaking her head. I’ll try different foods.

She is! I haven’t thought about a name yet, no.

She didn’t want them before, but I offered Blanca some mealworms in water again, and she ate them all haha. She is also trying to preen. I may put a shirt on her.
