Joined to find advice/tips on getting a necklace out of my chickens insides :(

Furosemide is a pill to make her expel water. I know as I have them for myself. They should help move that necklace on through.
Yes. I imagine the vet gave her that for the water in her abdomen that s/he drained. But I am not sure why the chicken has water in their abdomen to begin with and if it is related to the necklace.

I also think of it as like it’s easier to pass for a cat and it would most likely survive surgery. A chicken is quite difficult, they’re very sensitive animals and not many ppl understand them. You got very lucky it came out even tho it was very long ago. I’m happy for you on it coming out. I’m sure the relief you felt was no joke.
Thank you and yes I was very lucky. When you have to make a decision on money for your sick child or a cat that has a real big problem you go for your child first of course. I hope this chicken makes it alright.

Welcome. Any updates?
She’s not eating as much as before. She’s pooping less. The fluid on her bottom is building up again which means she may have to be taken to the vet again soon which breaks my heart for her because when we took her the first time we heard her screams and it sounded like a horror movie. People are giving me so many suggestions but I’m not sure what would be best for her because I’ve had medicines recommended and even techniques, but I can’t try them all at once because I’m not sure what would affect her more or not.

I would get it soon as it may be a complement to the Furosemide. as for fiber I'm not sure of the best but regular layer chicken feed certainly has some and most likely enough.
The pink one is Kao-pect which she gets 2ml every 4 hours. Her regular layer chicken feed she never eats that anymore she’ll peck at it but she has absolutely no interest in it. Not sure if it’s because she likes home food better or if it’s just the new bag we got her. She doesn’t have as much interest in even her own favorite foods. She is hungry and pecks to eat, just not at her food. Not sure if it’s because my mom gets her a new bag of chicken feed all the time

I get it about all of the options, and I am so sorry.
