Welcome zebserema!

So I DID candle last night...started out only going to take a peek at a couple, did them all - big shock! The little duckies and turkeys are rockin' around in there like crazy but I ended up pulling 8 of the 30 chick eggs for various reasons... and I checked and doubled compared them and am quite confident with my decision so it's a little roomier in there and we still have 22 chick eggs to hatch, (there was actually 3 others I was iffy about but decided to leave for awhile longer).

I have 12 White Leghorns due to be hatching on 7-14. We put in 13 on 6-23 and candling yesterday showed veins in 12 of them and chick bodies in 7 of them. So exciting!

Yeah I was looking after the goopy chick (I think that will be this ones name loll) And didn't go to bed till after 2! Yessss two more hatched last night, like I thought, and one popped out this morning. buff from last night, one that is totally jet black, even his feet! and another buff this morning, who is uber cute and lively! I'll take more pics when I got to take them to the brooder. No new pips yet... =/ But I just put in my blrw and silkies who have the hatch date of monday... Maybe they well be early too tho! When I candled last night, I saw one blrw had internally pipped, and it looked like a silkie too!
